Arthur James Whitfield

Beloved Dad

14 March 19422 January 2026

Forever in our hearts and minds.

Life Story

Arthur was a devoted husband, father of three, and grandfather of seven. A retired civil engineer who spent 35 years building bridges — quite literally — across the north of England. He was known for his dry wit, his immaculate vegetable garden, and his unshakeable belief that a proper cup of tea solved most problems. He is deeply missed by all who knew him.
